Why coaching is important in the workplace shouldn't even be a question or something that should be discussed at length, but here we are. People are short on time, deliverables are piling up, and they forget about that personal balance. But to create a true content performance culture and even be successful in marketing, teams need to build and grow together. And that includes a certain level of coaching.
Maybe it's not just the "manager" doing it all, either. Thomas Willis, author of "The Great Engagement: How CEOs Create Exceptional Cultures," covers the topic in his book and joins me on Episode 662 of "The Business Storytelling Show" to discuss:
Why coaching cultures matter How do you get them to work Where does the time from And moreJoin us.

A question that's sparking debate in the podcasting world - do podcasts have video? And perhaps more importantly, should they?
Traditionally, podcasts have been an audio-only medium. Just a couple people chatting into microphones, maybe recording in a studio or at a conference. The core content was the conversation itself, delivered straight to your ears.
But times are changing. More and more podcasters are adding a video component. Recording their discussions on Restream or other platforms that capture video. Some even livestream it.
So what's behind this shift? Is video the future of podcasting? Or does this go against the audio-only spirit of the medium?
Opinions are divided. Some say video creates a richer, more engaging experience. Facial expressions, body language, the ability to show graphics on screen - it all adds to the content. But others argue that podcasts are fundamentally an audio format, easy to consume while multitasking. And that video production makes the process more complex.
So which side is right? I discuss just that in this bonus episode of "The Business Storytelling Show."
