Maria Mmari Lasoi is passionate about sharing stories of faith and lessons from following Christ with a desire to point young people to Jesus. She has a blog, Faithful Follower and has also written for other publications.
Maria is also the author of The Project Cross, Chain Reaction and Faithful Follower. She is passionate the evangelism to and discipleship of teenage girls and young adult women and pursues this passion through her books, blog and podcast - A Few Dangerous Women. Professionally, Maria has a background in marketing and works in research across Africa for a missions organisation.
Maria lives in Nairobi, Kenya with her husband Bethuel where they buy more books than they can read and drink more coffee than is probably good for them.

Victoria Kanari is a communications professional who has worked with a variety of local and international corporate and NGO firms, with one goal: to drive positive change and create meaningful connections. She holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and has served in the ICT capacity during the early years of her career and later discovered her passion for communications and took the leap of faith to abandon her ICT career and shift to communications.
She desires to become a life-coach teaching others on the pursuit of a balanced life and she currently uses any platform necessary to teach on the Gospel of Jesus.

Rev. Amondi Agutu Aura is a wife and mother. She and her husband currently serve as the senior pastors of ICC Kisumu. She has a diploma in Communication and Media (print media focus) from Daystar University, a degree in Biblical Studies from KAG EAST University and a higher national diploma in Counseling Psychology from Kenya Institute of Business and Counseling.She is passionate about giving hope and ensuring the whole well-being of the individual. Her life goal is to live true to Matthew 25:23, which talks about the 'Good and Faithful Servant.' She lives to hear Christ say this of her at the end of her life. Jedaidah Muleya is a Monash University graduate, humanitarian by profession, worship minister and Christian author whose ultimate desire is to glorify the name of God through the different areas that she is called to. She desires to be a voice of hope, restoration, empowerment and healing to the nations. Jedaidah and her husband currently lead a Christian interdenominational fellowship for all that has been running for the past six years and is also a first year student at Rhema Bible Training Center.
She currently lives in Zambia with her high school sweetheart and little boy.

Gabriella (Gabi) Carvalho Gomez is an English teacher based in Aracaju, Brazil who is passionate missions and young women's discipleship. Gabi recently passed the bar exam to practice law in Brazil, is a leader of the teens department at her church and has been part of campus ministry for the last few years. She also leads RoleÌ das Meninas, a young women's discipleship group as well as the Blossom project, an initiative that develops activities for teens and children in villages that has served three different villages over the last three years.

Rosie Awori is a Kenyan mixed media artist and author based in Montreal, Canada who is following Jesus into the journalism sphere. She has a heart to tell authentic stories using digital art and words in the form of poetry and fiction. Rosie's first book, It is Written features her first collection of poetry and she is currently working on her second book. She has written for publications such as Quiet Women Co Sisterâs Bold Pursuit Devotion by Morgan Harper Nichols and has a proficiency in scriptwriting for film and TV.
In this episode, Rosie and I talk about her journey in journalism and creative writing. We also talk about changing career paths to pursue Godâs call, using the talents Godâs given you, navigating insecurity, imposter syndrome and comparison.
